Nonprofit Sector Foundation (NSF) has been in business since 2008 and is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit corporation.

We have 4 volunteer staff, 7 volunteer board members and 3 volunteer advisory board members.

The needs NSF serves are unemployment, nonprofit sustainability, lack of access to current community resources, and lack of affordable complimentary alternative medicine to the underserved for health & wellness. Meeting these needs is important to the world right now because people on a whole are suffering greatly from lack of income, poor health & the inability for nonprofits to serve the growing needs of their communities. To have this assistance right now would be of tremendous benefit.

The need for what we do is growing. In our targeted area of Riverside and San Bernardino counties in California, unemployment rates exceed the national average and 30% of residents are on public assistance.

Our geographic boundaries consist of the entire US. Our first primary targeted area is Riverside & San Bernardino counties in CA. Initially our potential reach is 10,000 nonprofits & community members each however, our goal the first year is 10 each.

The profile of our most like service users is adults, comprised of men and mostly women. Their ages range from 18+. They are low-income, out of work, job seekers, veterans, all races and traditionally underserved. This group of people make up about 1.2M of residents in Riverside and San Bernardino counties in California on public assistance.

As of June 2016 about 6% of residents in this area are unemployed. The national unemployment rate is 4.7% so our service area greatly exceeds the national level.

Our organization addresses their needs in that we are helping nonprofits to build their capacity and make more jobs available. We also help our target individuals to be prepared to work in those jobs for the long term.
